    Top 10 MMA fighters post-2000

Okay guys, ive spent the last two hours compiling a list of the best 10 fighters since 2000.
I USED NO OPINIONS. I used their win loss record and assigned points accordingly.

    here was my formula;
    wins earn 10 points
    quality wins earn 20 points
    losses subtract 20 points
    quality losses subtract 10 points
then i added the amount of fights finished by TKO/submission.

    heres what I got;

    1. Fedor Emelianko----363 points.
    24 wins, 6 quality wins, 1 loss, 23 finishes.
    2. Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson-------331 points. *that surprised the hell outta me*
    19 wins, 10 quality wins, 1 loss, 6 quality losses, 21 finishes.
    3. Matt Hughes-----293 points
    25 wins, 5 quality wins, 2 losses, 4 quality losses, 23 finishes.
    4. Anderson Silva--------279 points
    18 wins, 7 quality wins, 2 losses, 2 quality losses, 19 finishes.
    5. Georges St. Pierre--------243 points
    12 wins, 7 quality wins, 1 loss, 1 quality loss, 13 finishes.
    6. Maricio 'Shogun' Rua--------236 points.
    10 wins, 8 quality wins, 1 loss, 2 quality losses, 16 finishes.
    7. Wanderli Silva--------228 points.
    14 wins, 8 quality wins, 1 loss, 7 quality losses, 18 finishes.
    8. Chuck Liddell----------212 points.
    7 wins, 10 quality wins, 1 loss, 5 quality losses, 12 finishes.
    9. Dan Henderson---------209 points.
    10 wins, 9 quality wins, 1 loss, 6 quality losses, 9 finishes.
    10. BJ Penn------------201 points.
    4 wins, 10 quality wins, 0 losses, 5 quality losses, 11 finishes.

no huge surprise that Fedor was #1, but the rest was mildly surprising.

    what does everyone else think?

Well if you use win loss Torres would have to be in there. I dont think he ever belonged in the top anything. I see your formula tho. Torres had no quality wins. But one made for primetime being knocked out.

Looks pretty good will have to think about it for a few tho.

Barnett may be on roids but I think 3 of his 5 losses were to one guy. I think at the time the guy that beat him was quality.

i only used UFC fighters and Fedor, if i did all the other fighters it would have taken me years.

people like mousasi and manhoef would have been on there, but i just did the UFC guys and fedor, because he is by far the best.

ehh, i dont think it would be that competitve, Fedor would have at least 25 lbs on him.

now if they gave silva a year to add some muscle mass, it could be very interesting.

i think silva's the better striker, whereas fedor is better on the ground.

saku would have been close, but jusst going by records im not sure he would have been on there.

he has lost quite a bit of late, and since i was only using win/loss records it wouldnt reflect his true greatness.

if i would have done everyone, i would have had to put rickson #1, seeing as how he is 400-0, right? lol its sad that some people actually believe he has a mma record of 400-0.
he lost in a sambo match to an american, but he wont honor it.
